Botei, a Kazakh nomad and eagle hunter, lives in the heart of the Altai steppes in the far west of Mongolia. A proud representative of Kazakh ancestral culture, he is also a father concerned about his children's future, torn between the duty to pass on a long family tradition and the desire to give them a better education.
