For his documentary series « Photographers Stories » produced by Meero, Martin Zarka turned his camera to the Canadian photographer Kourtney Roy in Cancun.  Known for her eccentricity, Canadian photographer Kourtney Roy creates dreamlike settings for her self-portraits. Vintage clothing, retro wigs, multicolored makeup and high heels, Kourtney World makes fun of the world and treats it like a movie set where reality and fiction intertwine. This documentary is a plunge into the photographer’s imagination and invites us to follow her latest photographic series shot in Cancun, Mexico.

In this short documentary film, Martin Zarka presents the French portrait photographer Rémi Chapeaublanc. This globetrotting photographer has travelled around the world with his camera, from Paris to Mongolia, driven by the desire to find the answer to a deceptively simple question: “Who is this person standing in front of me?”. Zarka’s two-minute film won Sony’s 2014 “My next PXW-FS7 pro camera” documentary short film competition.
