JACKFLASH is a small team that goes far. From the Amazon rainforest, to the steps of Mongolia, from Berber villages to the mountains of Vietnam, we film up close, capturing authentic realities, building trust and empathy with each person along the way. We care about what is human: a gesture, a voice, a look.
Our strength: a documentary-style in a brand narrative. Our films reveal the savoir-faire, purpose or uniqueness of a place and craft. Our creations range across brand content, brand entertainment and savoir-faire films, at the crossroads of anthropology, adventure and reality.
But JACKFLASH is also a bridge. We connect brands with broadcasters and platforms, building narratives that can resonate in both worlds. We look for that meeting point where editorial ambition aligns with a brand’s values, where neither content nor form is sacrificed.
JACKFLASH is a way of filming, but also a way of being: ambitious but never invasive, deeply human. Driven by respect, curiosity and the joy of real, beautiful connections. Every shoot is an expedition. Every project, a human venture.
OUR TEAM
James Hagger
Founder / Producer
James Hagger is the founder and producer of Jackflash. He began his career in London in the late 1990s as an assistant director on feature films, working alongside Nick Love, Kevin Reynolds, Harmony Korine, and Christian Volckman. Now based in Paris, he founded Troublemakers in 2008 and has produced over a hundred films for brands, both in live action and animation. In 2018, he launched Jackflash to develop brand films with a focus on Brand Content, Brand Entertainment, and Savoir-Faire films. An active member of the industry, James has served as a jury member for the D&AD Awards, the Young Director Award, the Club des D.A., Eurobest, and Promax BDA, as well as for the Gobelins and New3dge schools. He is a member of the CJD and the SPI, and sits on the board of the UPC, where he chairs the Animation Commission. He was vice-president of the EPA, the European advertising producers’ union, and represented France at the G20 YEA 2024 in Brazil. He is also mentored by the Institut du Mentorat Entrepreneurial (IME), a program dedicated to leaders of high-growth SMEs.
Jean Méranger-Galtier
Producer
Jean first studied screenwriting at Paris-Nanterre University. He was then hired at KABO Family as Literary Assistant, where he worked most notably on the series The Island of Thirty Coffins. After that he worked as a script reader for some time. In 2022, he joined the JACKFLASH. Jean specializes in animated image education, giving lectures and writing pedagogical documents for various institutions (the CNC, Normandie Image, Les Cahiers du Cinéma). He writes episodes for several animated kids TV shows broadcasted in the UK, France, Germany, and other countries.
Robin Noël
Producer
Robin began his career in feature films alongside Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache for the company Quad Films, assisting them on internationally acclaimed films such as "Intouchables" and "Samba". Afterwards, he produced numerous advertising campaigns for prestigious clients such as LVMH and L'Oréal, within the Havas Paris agency. His various projects led him to work successively in New York, London and Bangkok, where he discovered and tamed other cultures and audiovisual practices, sharpening his taste for 2D and 3D animation. He joined JACKFLASH in 2020, sharing founder James Hagger's ambition to develop and carry ambitious projects, blurring the imposed boundaries of genre and technique.
Salomé Teyssier
Creative AI R&D
Salomé is in her final year of a Creative Engineering program at Gustave Eiffel University in Paris-Est. She is pursuing a multidisciplinary curriculum that combines both scientific and artistic fields, including imaging, multimedia, audiovisual production, and communication. Passionate about visual creation, she has worked in video editing, audiovisual production, and 3D modeling. She joined the Jackflash team in 2025 for her final-year internship as a Creative AI R&D intern.
Madeleine Baber
Production Assistant
Madeleine is a third-year Modern and Medieval Languages student at the University of Cambridge, majoring in French and Russian. She’s currently on her Year Abroad working as a Production Assistant with Eliotness, and has contributed as an editor to the student publication Gender Agenda, which recently earned ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Specialist Publication’ awards. Madeleine brings strong editorial insight and production experience to every project she undertakes.
Lola Matthews Matofsky
Production Assistant
Lola is in her third year studying Modern and Medieval French Literature at Oxford University. Having adapted her university curriculum to focus on art and theatre, Lola works as an artistic director for the competitive student dance team and has also worked as an editor for the student newspaper's cultures column alongside her studies. Currently based in Paris for her year abroad,Lola has joined the JACKFLASH team as a production assistant.
